On Alter's Supreme Volleyball Court in 2011, the Knights will be looking to serve up a little justice in an effort to improve upon last year's state semifinal appearance and 20-8 record. Although young in 2010, the Alter volleyball crew made impressive strides and is anxious to take it back on the court with now-seasoned ability and a hunger for more. Led by a trio of seniors in four-year varsity letterwinners, Megan Courtney & Kristen Kaiser, and libero Kelsey McGraw; the Knights will bring tons of talent and an aggressive offense into play in 2011. Joining the seniors on the Knights' roster of returning varsity players are juniors Claire Houser and Abby Rodgers, and sophomores Sara Crotty, Mary Rodehaver, and Natalie Seiler. Looking to make significant contributions to this season's quest for success are varsity newcomers juniors Ally Bidwell and Andie Schroeder, and freshmen Maddie Bazelak and Jocelyn Meyer. Head coach Tina Jasinowski enters her 16th season and will be joined by assistant Renee DeGraff in her 15th year. |
