BEGINNER SESSION -- Monday-Thursday, July 7-10 -- COST: $45

4:00-6:00 pm

THIS SESSION IS DESIGNED FOR boys & girls who will be in 4th grade or higher in the fall of 2008, but have had little or no prior volleyball experience

THIS SESSION IS DESIGNED FOR boys & girls who will be in 6th, 7th or 8th grade in the fall of 2008 and have had more than one year of prior volleyball experience

INTERMEDIATE SESSION 2 -- Friday-Monday, July 11-14 -- COST: $60
TIME:
Fri 4:00-6:30 pm; Sat 1:00-5:30 pm; Sun 3:30-8:30 pm; Mon 4:00-6:30 pm

THIS SESSION IS DESIGNED FOR boys & girls who will be in 6th, 7th or 8th grade in the fall of 2008 and have had more than one year of prior volleyball experience

ADVANCED SESSION -- Saturday-Tuesday, July 12-15 -- COST: $60
TIME:
Sat 8:00 am-12 pm; Sun 10 am-3:00 pm; Mon 7:00-9:30 pm; Tue 4:00-7:00 pm

THIS SESSION IS DESIGNED FOR boys & girls who will be in 8th or 9th grade in the fall of 2008 and who have had SIGNIFICANT volleyball experience (have played for three or more years). ADVANCED camp attendees should be able to CONSISTENTLY overhand serve and should be comfortable performing the pass/set/hit structure of play

WHAT WE'LL DO AT CAMP

  • Skill instruction & practice: serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking, defense
  • Game situation drills
  • Competitions for prizes!
  • INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED sessions: pre-camp skill assessment (players will be placed in skill groups according to their skill level in order to provide a more consistent instruction to all players at camp)
  • INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED sessions: explanation of various offenses & defenses
  • INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED sessions: offense/defense drills
  • INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED sessions: team competition
  • ADVANCED session: conditioning for volleyball, playsets and multiple offense variations

    GENERAL STUFF

    • Mail completed registration form to: Tina Jasinowski, Alter Volleyball Camp - 94 Lownes Ct. - Springboro, OH 45066
    • Payment MUST be included with registration. MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO: Tina Jasinowski
    • Pre-registration is REQUIRED and registration IS limited. Our camps fill VERY quickly - PLEASE REGISTER EARLY!
    • $5 of the registration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.
    • REFUNDS will NOT be given for cancellations made within one week prior to the registered session.
    • REGISTRATION CONFIRMATIONS will be posted ONLINE within two (2) days of the receipt of the registration form/fee (players will be listed by last name, first initial).

    • Camp t-shirts cannot be swapped out for different sizes when they are handed out - please check with your child when selecting a size for his/her camp t-shirt.
    • Players should wear volleyball-appropriate clothing, volleyball or court gym shoes and kneepads to camp each day. The gym is hot, please dress accordingly.
    • Water will be provided, but players are encouraged to bring their own water bottles. Food is not allowed in the gym.
    • Players will be asked to bring snacks or lunches for sessions on Sunday, July 13.
